Title: Baked Indian Pudding` {from Conneticut}

1cYellow Cornmeal, Granulated
1/2cBlack Molasses
1/4cGranulated Sugar
1/4cLard Or Butter
1/4tsSalt
1/4tsBaking Soda
2 Eggs
1 1/2qtHot Milk

Mix ingredients thoroughly with half of the milk and bake in a very hot oven until mixture boils. Then stir in the remaining hot milk and bake in a well-greased stone crock at a low temperature for 5 to 7 hours. Makes 1/2 gallon.
